About This Leaderboard
Welcome to the official This Teen Travelz Hotel Wi-Fi Leaderboard! At every hotel I review, I run a Speedtest using Ookla to track real-world download and upload speeds. Why? Because for teens (and let’s be honest, everyone else), reliable Wi-Fi is non-negotiable. Whether you’re gaming, streaming, uploading, or just trying to load your maps, this page ranks the best (and worst) Wi-Fi setups I’ve experienced so far.
Last updated: April 2025
How It Works
- I use the Speedtest by Ookla app at each hotel I stay in.
- Tests are done on hotel Wi-Fi (not cellular) using my Samsung Galaxy S24 and or Galaxy A35.
- Rankings are based on download speed (Mbps), but I also include upload speed and ping.
- Only hotels I’ve personally tested are included.

Disclaimer
Wi-Fi speeds can vary depending on the room location, time of day, and number of connected devices. These results reflect my experience during my stay and may differ for others.
Future Updates
Once the list grows, I’ll be adding filter options by hotel brand (like Marriott, Sheraton, Fairfield) and location (city or province) to make this leaderboard even more useful.
